The Nutcracker & The World's Fair
In this narrated, unique re-telling of “The Nutcracker,” Ballet 314 unites St. Louis’ favorite historical event with the timeless holiday tale. Audiences will enjoy the classical Tchaikovsky score with reimagined storyline, characters, and scenery that reflect the grand and whimsical St. Louis 1904 World’s Fair. Audience members have the opportunity to choose The Nutcracker & the World’s Fair experience that best suits their needs. With the premiere of this season’s sensory-friendly community show on Friday 12/8 at 10:00am, Ballet 314 continues their mission to provide accessibility to educational dance performances for all ages and audiences. Guests attending the 12/9 or 12/10 matinee may choose to elevate their Nutcracker & The World’s Fair experience with “Clara's Picnic” and enjoy a comprehensive package featuring a ticket to the 2:00 pm performance, a Nutcracker Boutique voucher, access to an exclusive pre-show meet & greet, backstage tour, and picnic refreshments inspired by the delights of the 1904 World’s Fair.
