Join conductor Ed Jacobs and the Metropolitan Orchestra of St. Louis for live music on Saturday, June 7 at 6:30 PM at the Webster Arts Fair at Eden Seminary in Webster Goves. Jacobs has crafted a delightful program entitled “Love is in The Air.” Bring your friends and family to this free outdoor concert, along with a lawn chair and picnic basket, and let MOSL take you on a musical journey of love, including Elgar's "Salut d'Amour," Dvořák's haunting second “Slavonic Dance,” selections from Bizet's “Carmen”, Hoagy Carmichael and Duke Ellington. Tuba soloist Matt Kuebler is featured on these concerts. An incredible musician, Matt will play Monti's virtuoso showpiece ‘Czardas,' as well as the famous Serenade from Romberg's operetta 'The Student Prince.' Audiences may just find a new love of their own during the performance as they fall in love with the beautiful sound of the tuba.
All are welcome; admission is free. Visit www.moslmusic.org for more information.
