Autumn Grace: Golden Melodies - Sheri and Friends Performance Night
The highly anticipated concert “Autumn Grace: Golden Melodies – Sheri and Friends
Performance Night” will take place at COCA (Center of Creative Arts) on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
Led by Sheri Xu, a former professional table tennis athlete in Shanghai, China, now sharing her passion through singing, the evening presents a rich program of solo performances, choir pieces, live band accompaniment, and traditional dance – bridging Eastern and Western cultures in one unforgettable night.
Audiences will enjoy classics like “Top of the World” and “One Moment in Time,” beloved Chinese songs such as “Woman Flower” and “Endless Rivers and Mountains,” and a finale with “Tomorrow Will Be Better” performed by the full ensemble.
Program highlights include an opening piano duet, Sheri’s expressive solos such as “Top of the World” , “Year After Year,” and “What the World Has Given Me,” duets with Nathan Wang, soulful solo performances by Nathan Wang, and guest artist Shen Na’s heartfelt renditions of “My Heart Will Go On” and “Pointing to the Moon with My Left Hand.” The evening also features the graceful traditional Chinese dance “Lotus Rising from Water,” choreographed by Lily Chen, adding cultural depth and elegance to the celebration.
Community response has been overwhelming – all 452 tickets were reserved within just 24 hours of release, reflecting the strong support from the St. Louis community.
About Sheri Xu: Sheri Xu is a former professional table tennis athlete from Shanghai, China, who today channels that same dedication into music, aiming to create heartfelt connections through songs that celebrate love, resilience, and cultural harmony.
About Nathan Wang: Nathan Wang currently serves as a professor at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, specializing in teaching vocal performance.
About Shen Na: Shen Na, a graduate of Shandong University of Arts, is currently based in St. Louis. She is an active vocal performer and also provides private teaching.
