Clementine's Ice Cream has collaborated with the Missouri History Museum as the official ice cream partner for its new 1904 World’s Fair Exhibit, which showcases the cultural history and impact of the fair and is the inspiration behind the four-pint collection. Flavors are reminiscent of the historical exhibition, including Banana Split, Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis, Vegan Waffle Cone-a-Copia, and Fairy Floss. The collection can be purchased in-person at one of their eight scoop shop locations in the St. Louis and Illinois areas on National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 21.
A portion of the proceeds from the Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis flavor will be donated to the Missouri History Museum. As a nod to the 120th anniversary of the World's Fair, Clementine's will hand out 120 free scoops beginning at 10am on Sunday, July 21 at the History Museum as well as free t-shirts while supplies last. As a special treat at the parlors, the first *50 people in line beginning at noon will receive a free limited edition t-shirt (*one shirt per transaction).
World’s Fair Collection:
● Banana Split | Available for a Limited Time: Since the invention of the Banana Split sundae in 1904, the dessert has become a staple in diners across America. Clementine’s reinvents the classic treat with a hand-piped ice cream pint with three marble flavors. This ice cream offers a trio of flavors in every bite with combinations of cherry, milk chocolate, and banana as a nod to the timeless treat.
.● Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis | Available for a Limited Time: Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis is a nod to the Missouri Corn Palace display at the World’s Fair and the cereal boom in the early 1900s. The ice cream is a sweet corn base that captures the essence of summertime bliss. Each scoop is adorned with clusters of crunchy, buttered corn flakes, adding a delightful contrast of textures.
● Vegan Waffle Cone-a-Copia | Available for a Limited Time: The waffle cone was popularized at the World’s Fair. Vegan Waffle Cone-a-Copia celebrates this with a rich caramel coconut ice cream intertwined with crunchy waffle cone nuggets, enveloped in luscious dark chocolate bark, and sprinkled with delicate flake salt.
● Fairy Floss | Available for a Limited Time: Introduced at the World’s Fair, “fairy floss,” now known as cotton candy, was a huge success and innovative dessert. Fairy Floss is a nod to the popular treat with a balance of the airiness and whimsical flavors of traditional cotton candy mixed with the velvety finish of malt.
