A Home Run for a Cause: American Cancer Society Day at the Ballpark with the St. Louis Cardinals


The American Cancer Society (ACS) is thrilled to announce the return of the ACS Day at the Ballpark in partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals. On Sunday, July 28, 2024, baseball fans and ACS supporters will gather at Busch Stadium for an unforgettable experience while raising funds to fight cancer. Event Highlights: • Early Access: All ACS ticket holders can enter Busch Stadium at 9:15 a.m. well before the 1:15 PM game start. Take advantage of family-friendly activities, including player autograph stations, dugout tours, and photo opportunities with the World Series trophies. • Gate Giveaway: Be among the first to receive the exclusive adult Cardinals Polo presented by Busey Bank. • Complimentary Treats: Each ticket includes a free jumbo hot dog and soda. • Ticket Pricing: LEVEL 100: $40, LEVEL 200 - $35, LEVEL 300 & BLEACHER SEATS - $20 “The American Cancer Society Day at Busch Stadium is a fantastic fundraiser for the American Cancer Society,” said Beth Orrell, a local cancer survivor from Southern Illinois and long-time participant of ACS Day at the Ballpark. “As a breast cancer survivor and life-long Cardinals fan, I am always eager to sell tickets to this game, especially knowing, I am raising money for an amazing nonprofit organization.” Orrell, a supporter of cancer research and services, likes that the American Cancer Society offers many free programs for cancer patients. “It’s truly an amazing day and as a survivor, it’s extremely gratifying to see fellow survivors enjoying a fun filled day with their friends and family,” she said. ‘Personally, for me, it’s a day that being a cancer survivor is just a little more special than any other day.” Mandie Ernst, Associate Director of Development for the American Cancer Society celebrates and applauds Orrell’s spirit of fundraising and volunteerism. “We are grateful for this long-standing partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals and the American Cancer Society,” said Ernst. “This day provides an experience like no other when attending this game and all for a great cause.
