Late Night Backlot Hangout: INDIE SLEAZE
Sweaty floors, skinny jeans and angular indie rock. We may not have called it “Indie Sleaze” at the time, but you all know what we’re talking about. Relive (or experience for the first time) the half-drunk euphoria of sweatily dancing to “Take Me Out” at London Calling. The Strokes, M.I.A., the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and much more will be blasting on the backlot. Some of us lived through this era, others are discovering it for the first time, but let’s all grab a cheap drink* and head outside for a night of Indie Sleaze under the stars.
* Canonically, this would probably be a PBR, but we don’t sell that. Sorry.
