"Own Your Journey" — BCI's 2025 Disability Transition Planning Conference
The conference will feature expert speakers, valuable resources, and practical breakout sessions designed to help attendees take the next steps with confidence.
Frankie Kietzman, Ed.S., of Shawnee, Kansas, will deliver this year’s keynote address, “Taking Control of Your Story.” A professional behavior consultant and autism advocate, Kietzman will share personal insights and practical strategies to promote independence, self-awareness, and self-advocacy, empowering individuals with disabilities to define their futures.
The conference will also offer two breakout sessions, each with four unique tracks, covering topics such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), housing, guardianship, family navigation services, self-directed social activities, and future planning.
