12/10/2023 10:45 AM 12/10/2023 02:00 PM America/Atikokan Moro Presbyterian Church 175th Anniversary Worship and Celebration, December 10th at 10:45 A.M. The 175th Anniversary of Moro Presbyterian Church will be celebrated on December 10th, 2023 with a special worship service at 10:45 A.M. and meal / celebration afterwards. Come learn how the 1843 original "Little White Church in the Prairie" was destroyed by fire on May 4th, 1974 and rebuilt as the current church in a record time of one year. The original steamboat bell was saved from the fire, and rings every Sunday to mark the start of the worship service. It will ring out loudly on the day of the 175th Anniversary! Members of the Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery will be in attendance, and there will be special music and dedication of gifts to commemorate the anniversary. RSVP to 618-377-63...
