66th ANNUAL WEBSTER GROVES ROTARY CLUB PANCAKE FESTIVAL ON FRIDAY OCT 4!
You will get all the pancakes you can eat, plus fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, applesauce, and choice of beverages for only $8.00 per ticket....one adult or two children. What a bargain! All in all, it's a most satisfying experience.... AND, some regard this event as the official opening of the Webster Groves fall social season!! ;-) This year, you will also have the opportunity to order one of our Legacy Oak saplings that have been nurtured for the past year at Forrest Keeling Nursery. These hardy little saplings are progeny of acorns collected last October from a dozen of Webster’s own “Legacy Oak” trees. Our Centennial Oaks project celebrates our 100th year as the first Rotary Club in St. Louis County. For more details, check out our website at webstergrovesrotary.org. For all these years, the Pancake Festival has been our major fund raiser, with proceeds supporting scholarships for local high school seniors, as well as all sorts of local projects, including the Rotary Interact Club and Robotics Team at Webster Groves High School, along with Rotary's top-rated international youth exchange program.... historically, our WG Club has been responsible for 20% of all Rotary exchange students for the east third of the state. On an international scale, our programs address eradication of polio, literacy, micro-financing, clean water, ShelterBox, and so much more. Lunch is served from 11:00 to 1:30 and Dinner from 4:00 to 7:00. Buy tickets from your Rotarian neighbors, or CALL CLAIRE at 314-603-2483. Of course, you can always buy your tickets at the door.
