Empty Bowls 2023
EMPTY BOWLS RETURNS TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY KITCHEN OF TORRINGTON
THURSDAY, MARCH 23, 2023 AT TORRINGTON ELKS LODGE
Come celebrate the return of Empty Bowls, a nationwide event to raise awareness of hunger in our communities, on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM. This event will take place in the beautiful banquet hall at the Torrington Elks Lodge, 70 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT.
Local students and artisans donate hand-crafted ceramic bowls, while local chefs and restaurants donate their talents in the form of delicious soups to fill them. In addition to the soups, bread, coffee, tea, and desserts will be offered.
The Torrington High School Chamber Choir will provide a special performance during this event. Additionally, there will be raffles for baskets and gift cards.
Tickets for Empty Bowls 2023 are $20, which includes your meal and choice of one ceramic bowl; or $10, which includes the meal only. The meal includes a variety of soups, bread, coffee, tea, and dessert. Children 5 and under are free.
