In a cabaret performance to benefit TransWay, a program of the William Way Community Center, Tom Wilson Weinberg and Keith Kaczorowski explore great songs old and new, standards and obscurities, ballads and novelty numbers. In an intimate cabaret setting Kaczorowski and Weinberg put their own spin on familiar songs and some wonderful lesser-known tunes. The duo will visit Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen, Noel Coward, Sondheim, Gershwin, Lerner and Loewe and a few of Weinberg's songs as well. TransWay is a program of the William Way Community Center, which provides social and educational opportunities for male-to-female transgender members of our community. The weekly gathering offers support, discussion, refreshments and occasional guest speakers. A portion of your ticket tonight will help support TransWay. Thank you! Two performances, 7pm & 9pm.
