Teddy Bear Drive

Help cheer on the 76ers and give back to your community on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011! The Philadelphia Children's Alliance (PCA) is proud to host its annual Teddy Bear Drive during the Sixers' game against the Pistons. Bring a children's teddy bear with tags attached to the game and receive a voucher to attend a special autograph session with Marreese Speights after the game. All bears will be donated to children at the PCA. The Philadelphia Children's Alliance (PCA) is a nonprofit organization that provides healing and justice for the city's sexual abuse victims. Every day, PCA responds with care and concern to help children, to support families, and to work closely with all agencies involved, including DHS, Philadelphia Police Dept., and the DA's Office. Since PCA's start in 1989, we have served more than 7,500 sexually abused children in our facilities. The Children's Alliance has given them an opportunity to go to a safe place, tell their story, receive support services, and begin the process of healing.
