Space is the place, and time is a construct. Enter: Bangarang, The Athena Collective, and you, sharing the same tiny point in the massive space-time continuum Friday, October 2nd.
We are on the joyful mission of collecting and crafting sounds and sights and moments that remind us to thank our lucky stars that we have the chance to experience our universe from the unique vantage point of here and now, together.
Take a walk through space and boogie down to the sounds of the cosmos. This first Friday of the month will also be a first for Bangarang: this event's stacked line-up features all female DJ's and producers. Bangarang ladies and The Athena Collective, a group that provides a platform for women in the music industry to connect, inspire, and empower each other, will be holding down the dance floor with an array of aural delights all night long.
Consider the nature of star stuff-- and the role the celestial bodies have in moving our own ;)

We are offering $5 off admission to anyone who brings donations for A Woman's Place, a community-based social change organization committed to the empowerment of women and to ending intimate and domestic violence for all. We are looking for the following items (new, in-packaging):
-paper towels
-tissues
-laundry detergent pods
-household products (i.e. dish soap, fabric softener trash bags)
-personal products (i.e. deodorant, tampons, hand sanitizer)
-baby wipes
-gift cards/certificates (i.e. walmart, target, drug stores)
21+ event
$15 with donation to A Woman's Place, $20 without
