Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group: Richard’s Story
Are you caring for a loved one at home with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia? Traditions of Cross Keys invites you to our monthly Alzheimer’s support group for family caregivers with informative discussions and advice. Our next session meets on Monday, May 6, at 6 p.m., in person at 3152 Glassboro Cross Keys Road, and is accessible online via Zoom.
Facilitator Jennifer Rhine talks about her father, Richard, their journey through dementia, and the importance of making meaningful memories. She shared that she and her father will always have Vermont. The state where he lived out his early dreams of playing in a band had held a special place in his heart. In tow with some family and friends for support, they set out to fulfill Richard’s bucket list and final ride, returning to his favorite era, reminiscing his pastimes, and making lasting memories with Jennifer along the way.
