The Jewel in the Crown March 27, 2009 On March 27, 2009, The Church of the Holy Trinity celebrates 150 years of worship and service in the community. A week of events is capped off with a ball, silent auction and several other surprises. Come dine and dance and be part of a unique event at the Union League. There will be a Gala Dinner/Dance on March 27th at the Union League and special events leading to the dinner. The theme of the Dinner is CHT 'A Jewel in the Crown' of Rittenhouse Square and all profits benefit Ready, Willing & Able. CHT is a vibrant community in Center City. In 2008, we re-shaped our worship space so as to be available for concerts and exhibitions thus serving the community beyond our walls. Regular art exhibitions and gallery nights draw 2000 people and a recent concert of Ukrainian music welcomed 700 people to the church. Our weekly lunchtime concerts have audiences of 100 people and are strongly supported by the Curtis Institute of Music. Please join us in celebration of 150 years of service.
