Tongue & Groove is back! After a brief hiatus, your favorite reality-based serio-comic spontaneous theater company is back with our popular show, UNSPOKEN.
Inspired by transcribed texts, posts, emails and other unspoken words anonymously submitted by the audience, this critically acclaimed ensemble of actors instantly generates scenes and monologues both hilarious and moving, accompanied by live improvised music.
In addition to the texts and posts, the performance integrates other unspoken words: Always wanted to say something to someone but never did? From 'I'm in love with you' to 'I was the one who slashed your tires!' -- share anonymously with us your withheld thoughts and feelings and see what happens to the words you've left unspoken!
Featuring: Bobbi Block (Artistic Director), Beth Dougherty, Noah Herman, Ed Miller, Carol Moog (musician), Fred Siegel and Carrie Spaulding.
'The area's most under-rated, overlooked theater venture, [the] truly inventive and unique Tongue & Groove.' Mark Cofta, Theater Critic, Phila City Paper
'Tongue & Groove will explode your expectations of what improv can be… and you'll laugh til you get a head rush.' Phawker
