Pack your blanket and put on your dancing shoes! Join the Zoo every other Tuesday at 11 a.m. for their Rock & Roar summer concert series on Impala Lawn. The all-ages, family-friendly concert series features Yosi and the Superdads on June 26th, The Paisley Pickles on July 10th, Mister G on July 24th, Joanie Leeds on August 7th, and Steve Pullara and the Cool Beans Band on August 21st. All of the concerts in the series are rain or shine, and an alternate, indoor location is available in the event of rain. Yosi and the Superdads—This rock-based, award winning band claims to be faster than a speeding toddler, more powerful than finger paint,and able to leap tall piles of laundry while paying bills and singing in four-part harmony.
