“The Paradox of Seabrook Farms”
This extraordinary documentary tells the story of Seabrook Farms, the biggest industrial vegetable producer in the United States in the 1950’s, where a diverse workforce of post-World War II European refugees, interned Japanese Americans and African Americans lived and worked. The stories of those laborers, and the vibrant multicultural community it both harbored and exploited, are highlighted in the film.
