The College of Physicians of Philadelphia in association with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health present a continuing medical education program: The Substance Abuse Epidemic in Philadelphia. Speakers & Topics: Charles O'Brien, MD, PhD - Substance Abuse as a Chronic Disease; Roland Lamb - The Local Epidemiology of Substance Abuse in Philadelphia and What the City is Doing to Address the Problem; Douglas Marlowe, JD, PhD - Drug Courts; Jose Benitez, MSW - A View of Substance Use from Prevention Point Philadelphia.
