Hermit Thrush Brewery visits the South Philadelphia Tap Room

The South Philadelphia Tap Room is excited to welcome Brattleboro, Vermont's Hermit Thrush Brewery to Philadelphia! Come out & meet the team behind these Belgian inspired new American oak aged sours. We'll have 4 different Hermit Thrush drafts pouring from across the sour spectrum: Green Street Sour IPA, Brattlebeer (sour ale with local apples), Party Guy (super sessionable sour at 3%) & a Flemish Brown Ale. We'll also have cans of 'Dark at 4:30,' a warming Belgian dark ale.

Brewmaster Christophe Gagné & brewer/VP Avery Schwenk met at Swarthmore College & have roots in the Philadelphia area (Christophe even brewed a few batches on the Nodding Head system back in the day!)- let's give them a warm welcome back to the Delaware Valley & get to know some of their delicious sour beer.
