Charity Wine & Spirits Tasting Launch Fundraiser for Connell's Hugs from Heaven
Join us in celebrating “Connell’s Hugs From Heaven” with light bites, live music, networking and a complimentary ONEHOPE Wine tasting and spirits from Facenda Spirits in Doylestown. Signature Cocktail collaboration with OneHope and Facenda and a freshly brewed coffee and tea bar by That Day Collective. Connell's Hugs from Heaven is a nonprofit organization created by local mom, Jenna Flynn. Her son, Connell, was born premature at 23 weeks and passed away at birth. The mission is to "Help renew hope for children who have lost a loved one by giving them a 'hug' from heaven- a wish or random act of kindness- to keep their lost loved one's memory alive in their hearts."
Her hope is to be able to publish a children's book with her 9 year old daughter, Abby, called "Birthday Hugs"- a true story from Abby's perspective of ways to celebrate life after loss. Funding will support supplies needed to create Birthday Hug boxes full of activities and their book, ultimately to partner with grief centers to provide support, resources and insight to families suffering from loss. Jenna's story is one of strength and resilence as she also navigates motherhood with three yong children.
Connell's Hugs from Heaven has partnered with an amazing Napa Valley winery, ONEHOPE Wine, which donates 10% of all sales to nonprofits across the globe. To date ONEHOPE has rasied over $11M to nonprofits and donated thousands to Jenna's nonprofit through these wine tasting events. Wine will be available to sample at the event.
