Samaritan Hosts Healing Hearts: A Space for Grieving Children and Families
On Saturday, October 4, 2025, Samaritan is hosting Healing Hearts – A Space for Grieving Children and Families, an in-person support group for children and their parent(s) or guardian(s) coping with the loss of a loved one. This free, half-day session held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., offers families the opportunity to process grief together through this year’s theme, Gathering Around the Campfire. Led by professional bereavement specialists, the session includes shared meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks), movies, activities and memorialization for each family.
Space is limited, and pre-registration is required by Friday, September 26, 2025. Individuals may register by calling Samaritan at (856) 596-8550 or emailing [email protected]. NOTE: There is no virtual option for this session.
