Introduction to B&W Darkroom

You have a pile of black and white negatives that you've shot and wonder what it would be like to make black & white photographs with your own hands instead of sending them to a photo store. If you have had this thought before, then this introductory darkroom course is for you. In this five-week class, students will learn the basics of black and white darkroom practices, from processing your own film to making your own prints. Students will gain a basic understanding of black and white printing and general darkroom usage. By the end of the class, students will be able to print on their own. Participants are also welcome to bring additional negatives for printing.
