In this weekend workshop, students will explore the artist-gallery relationship. We will discuss how to present work in different venues, from publications/social media to meetings with gallery directors.
Students will learn techniques for promoting their work locally, nationally, and internationally, and gain a better understanding of the importance of auctions, art fairs, museums and collectors.
Saturday's session will be held in New York City to give students hands-on experience visiting galleries, as well as a major auction house.
