On the heels of TV appearances and sold-out performances around the area, Philadelphia cabaret performer Karen Gross (www.karengross.com) will perform a special ladies-only performance at Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti, Old City’s acclaimed Italian restaurant at 212 Walnut Street, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, Pa. Cocktails and Cabaret with Karen Gross will take place on Wednesday, June 1, in the restaurant’s intimate and sophisticated Sopra Lounge. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show to begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $16 in advance, $20 at the door (including a cocktail of choice!). Seating is limited and advance tickets are highly encouraged. Philly’s cabaret star Karen Gross—known for her hit show “Sex & the Single Singer”— will present her NEW show “Sealed with a Kiss” at this special girls-night-out performance! Known for her exquisite voice and sassy humor, Karen will perform fresh renditions of classic standards, 1960′s girl-group favorites, 1980's power ballads, her own original music and a musical homage to the kiss. Karen has recently been featured on the NBC 10! Show, on Channel 6ABC and in the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Sealed with a Kiss” promises Karen's irresistible mix of sassy fun, laughs and fantastic music -- a perfect way to enjoy a night out with the gals! Plus, Positano Coast will be creating a special “Cabaretini” cocktail just for the occasion! Positano Coast is well known for their organic cocktails, created by a talented staff of mixologists including the multi-award-winning Andres Sanchez—who just recently competed nationally in a bid to win the 4 Orange Classic Cocktail Competition at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Look for Andres to stir up something really creative and delicious for this event’s special drink: the Cabaretini! Seating is first come, first serve; be sure to arrive early so that you and your group can get seated together. Guests have the option of ordering from Positano Coast’s menu of Italian specialties and should plan to arrive at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy dinner prior to the show.
