Amir Khadar is a multi-disciplinary artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who bridges the gap between fantasy and reality in otherworldly creations. In “After the Flowers Pass,” Khadar uses textiles and mixed media to construct a post-apocalyptic world that reimages hierarchies in today’s society. Khadar liberates their figures and creates a visual language that centers on race, gender, and climate justice.
