Cardio Pop


Amp up your heart rate as you jam to all the latest hits! You want high energy? You got it. Philly Dance Fitness guarantees you'll be sweating buckets in our fast-paced Cardio Pop program. With all the latest upbeat songs to keep you going, maybe you won't even notice how hard you're working. At least, not until you try to sing along and realize that you can't.

Class begins with a warm-up that includes isolations and exercises targeting a variety of muscle groups. While heating up your body, you'll also practice some of the moves that you'll use later on.
Then, dive into a mix of high and medium intensity choreography. Some routines will be pure cardio, others will focus on strengthening and sculpting. Expect squats, lunges, standing abs, arm exercises and more.

Like Zumba, you won't need to remember steps- just follow Besiana, the instructor. While she may break down a few of the more complicated moves, you'll never stop dancing in order to keep your heart working. So if you already love Zumba, and you love Top 40 music, this class is for you. Ditto if you just love to turn on your radio and bop around the house.

Don't let the cardio overload intimidate you: this class is suitable for all fitness levels. Many of the moves can be taken down a notch (or more!) for those who are just getting back into exercise or prefer not to jump.
