This 4 week class will teach students how to properly read through scripted material and the ways to develop their own style for any character they are portraying in either the theater or film mediums. By the end of the course, students will be able to read through a script for a film or play they are either auditioning for or are already cast in and will be able to have insight into what the director is looking for and how to truly build their characters from the ground up. This course will take young actors out of their comfort zone to help them become confident and comfortable in front of the camera and on stage, no matter what type of character they are playing.
