A Nightlife Experience Celebrating Sports, Philanthropy, & Entertainment.... This trendy experience calls for attendees to embellish in cocktail attire, dresses, ties, or even classic jeans but top it off with their favorite sneakers or kicks! Everything at Sneaker Ball 2016 will be fresh from the shoes, to the mindset, to the people, to the food, and the entertainment. Event includes complimentary cocktails & refreshments.
Entertainment will be handled by a crew of talented DJ Artists from around the Tri-State area battling for the 2016 Sneaker Ball Mixologist of the Year! Any DJs interested in competing should email information & samples to [email protected]. As guests dance, mingle, and enjoy refreshments the philanthropic component includes YOU donating a pair of gently used shoes to benefit DePaul House and Sole4Souls, both non profit 501c3 organizations. Both women & men's shoes are needed including casual shoes and dressy, professional shoes.

Why Donate Shoes?
Attendees bringing shoe donations to benefit DePaul House and Soles 4 Souls will help others in our city and across the globe who are in need. Across the globe, every day children are prevented from attending school, adults are unable to work and walking becomes unbearable. A new pair of shoes provides relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow. In many developing nations, walking is the primary mode of transportation. Every day millions are exposed to unsanitary conditions that lead to diseases such as hookworm, threadworm and the dreaded Tunga Penetrans, or "jiggers." These diseases may lead to sickness, even death.
About DePaul House
Depaul House, located in Germantown, is a transitional housing program that assists men with re-entry into employment. The residents participate in intensive case management and are referred to supportive services throughout the community, as needed.
About Sole4Souls
Soles4Souls is a not for profit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
