This spring, the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides presents its sixth annual lecture series on Philadelphia history, culture and architecture over two intensive weekends: March 5 & 6 and 12 & 13, 2016. The presentations will once again take place in the beautiful Independence Visitor Center's Liberty View Ballroom. Walking and driving tours conducted by senior guides from the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides will enrich the lectures.
This popular program features many of the region's top experts, among them David Silverman, renowned authority on Native American history at George Washington University; George Boudreau, Director of Public History at La Salle and author of the iconic Independence: A Guide to Historic Philadelphia; and Jeffrey Cohen, Architectural Historian at Bryn Mawr College.
