Powell Laweon Conference on Urban Aging will address the complex issue of chronic disease among older adults in Philadelphia. Contributing environmental, social and economic factors, disease management and prevention and potential solutions will be discussed. PCA is collaborating with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission to connect experts in aging with regional perspectives on transportation, housing, food access and other aspects in the environment that can have a significant impact on preventing and managing chronic illness.
