The Food Fight is an amazing event with tons of food, music & drinks inside the breath-taking Girard College campus. Food Fight attendees sample food from local Art Museum area restaurants and vote for their favorite dishes in various categories. Chefs will be on hand to present their dishes and get in the competitive spirit, hence the "fight!"
The Food Fight, formerly the Fairmount Fling, is the largest annual fundraiser for the Fairmount Community Development Corporation and proceeds go to benefit the neighborhood improvement projects, small business support, greening initiatives, and other community events. The night is complete with live music, raffle prizes, complimentary beer and wine, and featuring generous samples from over 25 area restaurants.
