Looking for a space where real conversations happen—across differences, with respect, curiosity, and purpose? Bridging Blocks is all about bringing neighbors together to tackle complex (and sometimes divisive) issues in a supportive, welcoming environment. It’s a chance to build skills for thoughtful dialogue, strengthen civic engagement, and feel empowered to use your voice in shaping the future of our community.
📍 Friends Village, in partnership with WHYY, is proud to host this monthly program on the second Thursday of every month starting in February, featuring a fresh, timely topic each session.

🌱 Blue Zones: Here in Bucks County? Can We Make a Difference?
Did you know there are places around the world where living to 100 is not unusual? Researchers have identified five “Blue Zones” across Europe, Latin America, the U.S., and Asia—regions with remarkably high numbers of centenarians. Despite cultural and geographic differences, they share surprising similarities in how people live, eat, move, and connect.
With U.S. life expectancy at 78.4 years and the global average at 73.5 years, the big question is:
👉 Could Bucks County become a Blue Zone?
👉 What small, local changes could make a big difference?
