Join Fundraiser to Support the American Heart/American Stroke Association
Calling all Philly area cycling enthusiasts! The American Heart/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA) invites everyone from beginners to experienced riders to participate in a fun fitness event – and support a great cause.
The 4th Annual Greater Philadelphia CycleNation Challenge will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The stationary-bike cycling event – which raises funds for heart and stroke research – will be hosted by Fountain View at Logan Square, located at 2 Franklin Town Boulevard in Center City.
Bikes will be set up in the senior living community’s auditorium and outdoor terrace, with breathtaking views of the city. Riders will have access to hydration stations and light snacks, and can enjoy a post-ride “happy hour.”
Advance registration is required, and there are minimum fundraising requirements for individuals and teams. Parking for participants and attendees will be available at the Community College of Philadelphia Parking Garage at 434 North 18th Street.
“The AHA/ASA is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke,” said Dayna Glantz, Fountain View’s senior living liaison. “We are thrilled to be the host site for this year’s CycleNation Philadelphia, supporting a movement that empowers people to be healthy while helping to fund life-saving research.”
