Sterling Memorial "Apple Pie 7s" Rugby Tournament On Friday, November 26th, approximately 200 high school and collegiate players are expected to participate in the Second Annual Josias A. Sterling Memorial 'Apple Pie 7s' Rugby Tournament, an annual event designed to honor the memory of the late Josias A. Sterling. Josias tragically lost his life when swept away by a riptide in July 2009. He was a student athlete/rugby player for both St. Joseph's Prep and Temple University. This tournament is the primary fundraising vehicle for the Josias A. Sterling.
