Dunkin’ Celebrates Torresdale Grand Re-Opening with VIP Cards, Raffle Prizes, Ribbon Cutting, and More!
People who live and work in Torresdale can once again enjoy their daily Dunkin' run, as the brand today announced it is re-opening its restaurant at 1820 Torresdale Ave on Saturday, July 24. Starting at 10:00 AM, the restaurant will celebrate its grand re-opening by rewarding the first 100 guests in line with a daily Dunkin’ VIP Card, valid for a $1 Medium Hot or Iced Coffee over the next month.* The restaurant also invites guests to enjoy a Free Medium Hot or Iced Coffee with any purchase from 10:00 AM – 12 Noon.**
At 10:00 AM, Dunkin’ franchisee Sonny Ho will host the store’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony joined by local Police Athletic League Executive Director April Thomas Jones and Officer Robert Slobodian. Local DJ David Goodman will broadcast live on-site of the Dunkin’ grand opening celebration from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon.
Sonny Ho, the current franchisee owner of this Torresdale Dunkin’, holds a special place in his heart for this opening as it is the restaurant where he began his Dunkin’ career almost 30 years ago. Sonny started as a crew member and earned management positions that led him to become the CEO of his Dunkin’ franchise network, Northeast Donut Shops Management Corp., which now includes 46 local Dunkin’ restaurants and employs 900 team members.
Throughout the grand re-opening celebration, guests will be invited to win premium raffle prizes, including a tablet, laptop, headphones, smart watch, coffee maker, guitar, and more! The celebration will also include Dunkin’s prize wheel and photo opportunities with Dunkin’s very own mascot, Cuppy.
