Men's Club Brunch with Speaker
At our next Men's Club Brunch, on March 12, 2023, join congregant, longtime Jewish educator and author Matthew J. Goldberg for an uplifting book reading and discussion.
Matt will speak about his new book, Rings of Kindness. Rings of Kindness (copyright 2023) features 85 true stories from 80-plus authors about acts of kindness they received from others. Matt will give some background on how the book came about, discuss the lessons he learned from creating this anthology and share a few of the book's many stories.
While the book is non-denominational, the stories tie in quite well with Jewish core values and ethics. Congregants Steve Levin, Mark Pinzur, and Ian Carlton, all featured in the book, will also share their own stories. Each story will be discussed, and all in attendance will be invited to share their own experiences.
This is Matt Goldberg's seventh published book, and one that truly speaks to his heart, as his goal is to spread kindness to our world via stories of kindness ("chesed", in Hebrew.)
