“It is a fearful thing to love what death can touch” begins a reading in our prayer book before the Mourner’s Kaddish. When we love, we inevitably will have to grieve, which is one of the hardest aspects of being human. In this class, we will explore what the grief process looks like (spoiler alert: there’s no manual, or one way you’re “supposed” to grieve) and the plentiful resources that Judaism has to offer in the way of ritual that help us make it through one of the most difficult human experiences. Whether you’ve experienced a difficult loss or not, this class is for everyone.
Registration is required.
No cost for congregants. $10/session for non-members.
