Wizardry and wonder fill the air of Chestnut Hill with The Harry Potter Festival! Germantown Avenue and various side streets transform into Hogsmeade for a day for thousands of fans of all ages, as merchants offer special themed products for sale, including food and drink. A Friday night Harry Potter Pub Crawl and a Saturday Quidditch Tournament at Chestnut Hill College add to the excitement for wizards and muggles alike. The festival also features the Hunt for the Horcrux, Woodmere Art Museum's straw maze, a scarecrow walk at Morris Arboretum, a complimentary Knight Bus Trolley, "Defense Against the Dark Arts"? classes, Sorting Hat demonstration, and Hedwig's Hollow Selfie Park. The Harry Potter Pub Crawl is Friday, October 16, from 7-9 pm, with a costume contest at 8 pm. The Quidditch Tournament ensues on Saturday, October 17, beginning at 10 am at Chestnut Hill College. The Harry Potter Festival takes place on Saturday October 17 from 11 am to 4 pm.
