The region's most talented and ambitious students convene Saturday, March 22 for the 33rd Annual Coriell Institute Science Fair. This longstanding tradition brings together some of South Jersey's most gifted students, grades 6 through 12, to exhibit their abilities and vie for an opportunity to advance to the Delaware Valley Science Fair. Hundreds of participants representing several scientific disciplines – including chemistry, computer science, engineering, health & medicine, and more – plan to wow judges with a variety of unique projects ranging in complexity.
Between 9 and 11 a.m. a group of expert volunteer judges from the community will speak with students about their work and make project evaluations. The Fair culminates in a fun and interactive award ceremony beginning at 12:30 p.m. Winning students are announced and invited on stage to accept their awards. Along with qualifying for the regional finals, students are eligible to win cash prizes and college scholarships.
