Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, this incredible synagogue in the Philadelphia area was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2007_one of only 4 synagogues nation-wide to achieve that status. On November 15, 2009, the congregation celebrates and inaugurates its new visitor center exhibit space, designed by noted Philadelphia firm Venturi Scott Brown and Associates. Paul Goldberger, architecture critic for the New Yorker magazine will be speaking about Beth Sholom and Wright's career. There will also be an opportunity to view the documentary film about Beth Sholom narrated by Leonard Nimoy.
