International Womxn’s Day Co-Presented with Qunify Featuring performances by Superknova and Messapotamia Lefae Saturday, March 7, 4-11 p.m. Inspired by Audre Lorde’s statement that caring for oneself is a political act, Asian Arts Initiative hosts its 2nd annual celebration of the radical spirit of a united international womxn’s movement! The evening will feature interactive stations, performances, a queer dance social, and fosters a space of care and joy for women, trans, and non-binary people.

Ticketing is on a sliding scale from $5-$30, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are pre-purchasing your ticket online and would like to pay in an amount not listed, please make a donation in the amount you wish to pay. Tickets are also available at the door on the day of the event.

Asian Arts Initiative is designed as a mobility accessible facility, with access to all public floors and spaces, and seating accommodations for programmed events. Both non-gendered and individually isolating restrooms are available on each floor, all equipped with changing stations. If contacted in advance, we will make every attempt to fulfill requests for reasonable accommodations such as vision/hearing auxiliary aids and cognitive disability guides.
