White “ close friends with Tariq "Black Thought " Trotter of the GRAMMY® award-winning band The Roots and Mural Arts board member “ was a community leader, father, and educator who led health initiatives aimed at young African American men in Philadelphia, raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and STI prevention. Join Shawn's family and friends, neighbors, and colleagues for an afternoon of music, food, art activities, and more as we lionize the memory of a true hero.
