For more than 50 years, the Puerto Rican Day Parade has honored Puerto Rican heritage and traditions to ensure they are preserved for generations to come. More than 5,000 attendees are expected take part in the festivities including elected officials like Mayor Jim Kenney and celebrities including Philadelphia boxer Brandon Pizarro and Ms. Keystone State Abigail Chacon. Professional Boxer and North Philadelphia Native Danny “Swift” Garcia will serve as Parade Grand Marshal along with his two sisters.
