Workshop on Family Constellation with Joan Garriga

Spaniard Joan Garriga, writer, and psychologist – a world reference in Gestalt therapy and Family Constellations –,  will be in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, on the 29th & 30th of July for the workshop “Say Yes to Life: Gaining Strength and Giving Up Suffering.”

Organized by Instituto Sintonia in partnership with the Brazilian Andrei Moreira, a homeopath and Family Constellation expert, the event will be held in Spanish with translation into Portuguese. This is Garriga's first-time presentation in the United States.

In the workshop, Joan Garriga will work on various topics from the Systemic Family Constellation, including exercises and creative visualizations with the public.

To participate, no prerequisite training in this area is required. The meeting is aimed both at people who want to experience movements of assent, reconciliation, and connection with parents, children, spouses, and other family members, as well as those who wish to deepen their knowledge and practices of systemic principles with one of the greatest authorities on the subject. At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Family Constellation is an approach to Systemic Phenomenological Psychotherapy developed by Bert Hellinger (1925-2019), designed to help discover hidden dynamics in a family or personal relationships, even applied in lawsuits in the search for a consensual solution to conflicts.

About Joan Garriga

Born in 1957 in Bellpuig, Spain, Joan Garriga is a humanist psychologist and Gestalt therapist; founding partner of the Gestalt Institute in Barcelona, trained in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Ericksonian Approach and Scenic and Body Methods, as well as a specialist in Enneagram and Integrative Therapy. He introduced Bert Hellinger, the creator of Family Constellations, to Spain. Garriga conducts workshops and training on Family Constellations in several countries, being recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on the subject. He is the author of several works, including "Saying Yes to Life" and "Where are the Coins? The Keys to the Bond between Parents and Children”.

About Instituto Sintonia

Instituto Sintonia was co-founded by Solange Gomes and Alexandre Carneiro in 2018 in Florida as an extension of Instituto Sintonia Brazil to spread Family Constellations throughout the United States. Solange has a Master's Degree in Psychology and Psychodramatic Didata-Supervisor and, with her husband, Carneiro, is dedicated to organizing Family Constellation events in the country.

Andrei Moreira, as well as a partner in organizing the event, is a physician, Family Constellation expert, and volunteer director of the NGO Fraternidade sem Fronteiras. He is also the author of several books.
