The GroundUP Music Festival returns for its 10th anniversary to the oceanfront Miami Beach Bandshell, March 13-15! Presented by the GroundUP Music Foundation and co-founded by Michael League of Snarky Puppy and veteran arts leader Paul Lehr, the festival celebrates a decade of boundary-pushing performances and meaningful musical exchange.
GroundUP Music Festival stands tall in the Miami music scene, offering a festival experience like no other. Known for its relaxed, intimate atmosphere and bold, genre-defying lineups, GroundUP creates a laid-back oasis of true community just steps from the sands of Miami Beach. Unlike most festivals that focus on a single genre, GroundUP pairs unexpected sounds and artists into a seamlessly authentic program, allowing each performer’s story to shine.
Alain Pérez knows no boundaries. A masterful multi-instrumentalist originally from Trinidad, Cuba, he made his name in Spain working with flamenco's biggest stars, most notably Paco de Lucía, Enrique Morente, and Diego El Cigala. Since then, he has met equal success with his solo project and collaborations with some of the world's biggest names in music. In Alain, history, tradition, innovation, virtuosity, and infectious joy collide to create a listening experience that is impossible to forget. Alain Pérez will perform on Saturday, March 14.
