Community Event Promotes Infant Healthcare
All About Baby Protection
Join Sanofi’s A Trusted Circle initiative and L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center for “All About Baby Protection," a free educational event on safeguarding the health and wellness of infants. New and expecting parents and caregivers will hear from experts such as a pediatrician, and nurse and injury prevention coordinator on best practices for safety. Plus, participants will learn about common respiratory illnesses such as respiratory syncytial virus or RSV.
Activities will include:
Talks on how to protect infants from respiratory viruses, with a focus on RSV
Q&A with the onsite pediatrician on basic general infant healthcare
First Aid Response: covering choking, head injuries, convulsions, and fevers
Safety & Prevention 101: focusing on home safety, car seat safety, sleep safety, and water safety
Special giveaways:
Breakfast and light refreshments
Tote bags with essentials for babies
