Community Event Empowers Parenthood
The event will help increase moms' and parents' confidence in having conversations with their healthcare providers and provide critical information and techniques on pregnancy, post-partum care and infant care. This event is part of the Sanofi initiative, A Trusted Circle, featuring interactive events focused on maternal and infant health. It will be held in English; however, Spanish-speaking staff members will be present to assist.
Activities will include:
Panel discussions on stress management techniques for mothers and mothers-to-be, mental health challenges during and after pregnancy, common infant illnesses, and tips on family bonding and support
Q&A session with infant health and family support experts: a pediatrician, a doula, and a community liaison
Wellness stations
Special Giveaways:
Light refreshments
