Apple Hosts "Black Resistance Through Art" Series at Apple Aventura Store for Black History Month

To celebrate Black History Month, Apple is hosting Today at Apple sessions across the country focused on the theme of “Black Resistance Through Art,” with Miami sessions at the Apple Aventura store taking place from February 10-26.
Inspired by the vast African diaspora, the sessions will be led by emerging Black creators pushing boundaries in the arts, including a performance by musical duo, PAPERWATER, a Live Art painting session with local artist, poet, and Afro-Latina entrepreneur Reyna Noriega, and an exclusive Black storytelling session with photographer Terence C. Price II.
Event details:
- February 10 — Apple Aventura @ 7:00 PM: Exclusive Black Storytelling with Terence C. Price II, an artist who emerges from a tradition of mid-twentieth-century street photography, capturing the world around him in evocative portraits and cinematic snapshots.
- February 24 — Apple Aventura @ 7:00 PM: Performance by PAPERWATER, a pop duo with sound that flows from heavy soul, house, to lofi love.
- February 26 — Apple Aventura @ 3:00 PM: Live Art and a Conversation with Reyna Noriega, an intimate session with visual artist and author, Reyna Noriega, who aims not to be a voice for the voiceless, but rather lead them to feel empowered using their own voice.
