Internationally acclaimed photographer Tim Flach, best known for his iconic portrait of an axolotl and his striking animal photography, is coming to Seattle for two special events at Woodland Park Zoo. On May 15, Flach will give a public talk exploring his unique approach to animal portraiture and conservation storytelling. The following day, May 16, he will lead an exclusive full-day workshop for professional photographers.
Based in London, Flach’s work bridges art and science, often appearing in National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian. He is the current President of the Association of Photographers and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. This is a rare opportunity for local audiences to hear directly from one of the world’s most celebrated animal photographers.
